A half-day hike to a series of falls with natural pools.

Rainforest, waterfalls and endemic monkeys
The Udzungwa Mountains are part of the ancient Eastern Arc range, often called the Galápagos of Africa for their many endemic species. There are no roads inside the park: you explore on foot.
The most popular trail climbs to the Sanje waterfall, which drops about 170 metres through the forest. The park is close to Mikumi, so the two combine well.
