Exclusive wilderness on the migration route
The Grumeti Game Reserve borders the western Serengeti. Between about June and July the Great Migration moves through the Western Corridor and crosses the Grumeti River, where large crocodiles wait.
Low visitor numbers and private concessions allow activities not possible in the national park, such as walking safaris and night drives.
