Festivals and events to plan your trip around

Adding an event to your holiday is a great way to meet people and see a different side of Tanzania. Dates are announced by the organisers each year, so contact us early and we will build your trip around them.

Sauti za Busara, Zanzibar

A popular African music festival held in Stone Town, usually in February.

Kilimanjaro Marathon, Moshi

Full marathon, half marathon and fun run at the foot of Kilimanjaro, usually early in the year. Combine it with a climb or a safari.

Zanzibar International Film Festival

Films, music and workshops in Stone Town, usually around July.

Wildebeest calving season

Not a festival, but one of nature's biggest events: thousands of calves are born on the southern Serengeti plains around February.
