About this trip

This six-day safari covers the three highlights of northern Tanzania at a comfortable pace. You start with the elephant herds of Tarangire, spend two full days following the wildlife of the Serengeti, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a chance to see black rhino.

Your private vehicle and guide stay with you throughout, so the timing of each day can follow the animals and your interests.

Price basis: Per person sharing, 4 travellers, mid-range lodges

Minimum group: 2 travellers

Children: Children under 5 travel free in the vehicle; 5–15 years pay about 60% of the adult rate.

  • Valid passport (6+ months) and Tanzania visa
  • Yellow fever certificate if arriving from a risk country
  • Travel insurance recommended

Cancellation conditions

  • 60 days or more before arrival: deposit refunded minus bank charges
  • 59–30 days: 30% of the tour price
  • 29–8 days: 50% of the tour price
  • 7 days or less, or no-show: 100% of the tour price
